WCW Quote

In chapter 2, she talks about politics a little bit. She mentions her grandmother, her grandfather and her aunt. She has a quote by her aunt that caught my attention. Her quote was, "Don't listen to a thing your parents say about politics. The sooner you lose their ideas, the better". I found this interesting because peoples opinions on politics are always interesting and sometimes funny. I picked this quote because I feel the exact opposite about what she said. Without my dad I would know nothing of politics, I just never had an interest what so ever and through the years my dad has taught me more and more. Politics never really interested me, I know it's a big thing all around the world but I just have no interest. I've the heat people have between each other dealing with Democrats and Republicans. It all just seems stupid to me, why fight with someone over what they view as "the right thing", truth is, there is no, "right thing". I know the basics of politics; the parties, how voting works, how long terms are, the usual history class stuff, but the thing that's always fascinated me was how little I really know, but like I said I know it's important, but I don't see why people get all upset over things.
